Brand campaigns for the Neymar Jr. Nike Mercurial
Player Edition Football Boots
Overview
Over the past three years, Nike has created six Player Editions of its signature Mercurial Vapor specifically for and inspired by Neymar Jr. — one of footballs most electric and divisive players. The design for each of these boots serve as an expression of who Neymar is — referencing his childhood in Brazil, his tattoos, his achievements on the pitch, even his love of Formula 1 racing. Aesthetically, the design of these boots always capture and express Neymar’s bold personality and style to their core.
With the launch of each new boot, a bespoke visual system is created to be carried out across a wide range of applications and deliverables, creating a coherent voice. The following showcases the brand and digital design work I’ve been apart of for each of these boots.
